The finger saver ring protects your fingers while giving you more control and grip when tying fishing knots.
New braided line is stronger but thinner which makes it difficult to tie correctly and can cut your fingers and hands when tightening.
 Loop a bit of line twice around the ring which has an outer rubber grip that grabs the line. This allows you to tighten with more pressure and control.
Correctly tightened line increases hookups and decreases lost baits and lures!
